THREE CATEGORIES: on FOOT, by FATBIKE and by SKI.

10.-11 February 2023

REGISTRATION NEXT 2023 RACE WILL BE OPEN 15.11.2022

(will finish 15.01.2023)

66 kilometers ultramarathon. Maximum time to complete it: 14 hours.

The 66k race is a partially signed track. Organisation will supply the track maps. Even the GPS is not really needed, participants can use it. The 66k track have mandatory checkpoints to follow. Once the participant arrives to the mandatory checkpoint must sign-in and sign-out in a piece of paper she/he will find in the checkpoint.

Anyone who doesn't know how to read and understand a map or don't know about orientation, should not register in this race.

66k race intends to be, as well, the initiation to winter races. To participate on it is not necessary to have experience in other winter races but we recommend to the people who wants to participate to have experience in marathons or winter mountain traverses.

We understand that anybody who intends to participate in this kind of race without previous winter experience must have the common sense to get good information about all the needs to face a competition like this one.

At the checkpoints, except in Sinettäjärvi checkpoint (the second), racers will find a camp fire and basic shelter. Only will find water in Porohovi checkpoint which is the first and last checkpoint.

Racers must be self-sufficient and have the ability to take care of themselves. This race is a potentially dangerous one, participants have to really seriously consider if they are physically and mentally prepared for this kind of race.
